Nutrition program, more than nutrition
Asmaa worked in 2017 as a #nutrition health educator in her village at Almansoria district, Al-Hodeida. Armed with communication skills, she convinced community and its leader that women+education = family welfare. Today, 27 women are still studying for the fourth year in a row while Asmaa frequently contacts top district officials to allocate salaries for volunteering teachers to ensure sustainability of her initiative.
