Monitoring & Evaluation Workshop
The evaluations cover interventions in Water & Sanitation, Rain-fed Agriculture & Livestock, and the Labor intensive Works Program. The SFD's Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Unit presented in the workshop its new data collection tool using mobile devices. The workshop was attended by several relevant international organizations and governmental bodies, with the participants opinions and queries discussed and answered.
At the end of the workshop, the M&E Unit confirmed the importance of holding such workshops mainly for the importance of knowledge transfer and experience exchange with governmental agencies as well as to promote program and policy evaluation in order to improve interventions and to better serve targeted people and communities
