Cash-for-work project builds 16 cisterns and terraces in Raymah
The activities of rainwater harvesting project (17 cisterns) and repair of agricultural terraces through cash for work program are continuing in Bani Al Jawlahi group of villages in Kusmah district (Raymah governorate) Yemen. SFD is supporting 285 vulnerable families whose bread winners have lost their job opportunities due to the ongoing conflict in that remote and hard to reach area. According to villagers, SFD has been the first development institution to have reached that mountain topped area. The project costs YER 63 million.
